The Kinsmen Club of Stony Plain is a longtime active service organization that donates over $30,000 annually to support Community programs such as Stony Plain Christmas Hampers. They are committed to providing the citizens of Stony Plain and Area with the opportunity to develop strong roots in their culture and heritage through programs that enhance personal growth, citizenship and education. The Club has a broad scope and donors are welcome to support endeavors pertaining to the arts, agriculture, and capital improvement projects.
The Stony Plain Kinsmen Rodeo is a fund raising event supported by one of the largest volunteer programs in Parkland County. Through the efforts of our volunteer and Club team, we reinvest all the proceeds we generate back into our facilities, the community and our many youth development and agriculture programs for the benefit of the entire community.
With the support of funding partners - government, corporate and individual - we will preserve and promote western heritage and values, while providing excellent family entertainment and raising funds for the many groups and organizations like the Stony Plain & Parkland Pioneer Museum.
