Stony Plain and West Parkland Christmas Hampers
THANK YOU for your continued support, generosity and kindness towards local deserving families that need a helping hand this holiday season. For the 47th year, the Stony Plain Kinsmen and volunteers are working to make Christmas brighter for local families who are struggling.
Our goal is to support families in need with food and gifts for the holidays. Last year with your help, we assisted 759 families in our area and supported over 2,000 residents!
We rely on our community and surrounding area to donate to this important local cause. We are a 100% volunteer-based non-profit group and can only assist those in need in our community with your help.
How to Apply

Applications are being accepted until December 12, 2025. To apply, contact the Parkland Food Bank (click HERE to visit their website). Applying through the Parkland Food Bank will automatically apply you for the Kinsmen Gift Hampers.

Applicants will receive an "upsized" December hamper at the Parkland Food Bank at their scheduled appointment time.

Gift hamper pick up for applicants with children 17 and under: at the Stony Plain Heritage Pavilion. Pick up will be drive through for efficiency and respectful distribution of the gift hampers. Watch for signage and instructions for how to proceed. Families will be notified of the date and time for pickup.

Recipients will be sent more information via the email address supplied to the Parkland Food Bank.
Please note: ID is required for hamper pick up by someone residing at the registered dwelling OR by the individual who has been declared or designated on the application.
How to Donate
The Parkland Food Bank handles the food portion of our Christmas Hampers. If you have a food donation, please drop it off at the Parkland Food Bank directly or at a grocery store with a PFB collection bin.
The Kinsmen collect and distribute gifts and gift cards to children aged 17 and under. We strongly encourage monetary donations as well as gifts and gift cards. We can also accept toques, mitts, and scarves for redistribution.

Monetary donations can be made online on our website or by cheque. Please make all cheques payable to: Stony Plain Kinsmen Christmas Hampers. You can drop cheques off at All Star Signs in Stony Plain or mail them to:
